Harvard Allston Land Company

The Harvard Allston Land Company (HALC) is a subsidiary of the University and oversees the planning and development for the University’s 36-acre Enterprise Research Campus (ERC) in Allston. The ERC is being built to be a vibrant and exciting district focused on research, enterprise, and innovation that will complement the diversity, and creativity of the Allston community as well as Harvard’s existing academic communities in Allston.

HALC is currently and primarily focused on the development of the first 14 acres of the ERC, which will include new infrastructure, streets and open space as part of an approximately two million square foot mixed-use development of office and lab space, residential units and a hotel and conference center. In this effort, HALC collaborates with several OEVP offices as well as the Office of the General Counsel and Harvard University’s Public Affairs and Communications.
