Dear Faculty, Staff, Students, and Harvard Affiliates,

Recently, Harvard University enhanced its emergency notification system, MessageMe. In the event of an emergency affecting campus or surrounding areas, MessageMe allows the University to quickly distribute critical information to you through text messaging, voice, and/or email.

To ensure that you receive MessageMe alerts when they are sent, we are adding the non-Harvard email address and cell phone number that you provided to the University when you registered with our authentication system, HarvardKey. You should see this update in your MessageMe contact information over the next several days.

It is possible that your information in MessageMe may still be incomplete. To confirm your contact preferences or to update your contact profile, please go to [messageme.harvard.edu](https://messageme.harvard.edu).

It is important that you review and update your MessageMe profile annually. If you have any questions, please visit the [IT Help portal](https://harvard.service-now.com/ithelp?id=kb_category&kb_category=6d3b8ef0378976009aa163d2b3990ed4).

Sincerely,
Katie Lapp
Executive Vice President
